While TEDx events adhere to TED Conference guidelines, each, including TEDx Universitas Airlangga, is independently organized and managed.

The international visit and cultural exchange experience at Wako School, Japan, with SMA Progresif Bumi Shalawat was very meaningful. We were warmly welcomed by the students and staff, making us feel at home. The most memorable moment was when we performed the Saman Dance, which mesmerized the Japanese students. In addition, we learned about Japanese culture through calligraphy and origami art workshops, which enriched our horizons. Discussions about cultural differences opened our minds, and the cooperation created a cultural bridge that will continue. This visit deepened our understanding and created friendships that will be remembered forever.
