During my internship at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum, I was placed in the smelter casting plan section. I underwent approximately 2 weeks of material in-depth study by the mentor at the location regarding the casting process, then after that I entered the work shift, then for approximately 2 weeks I prepared an internship report with the topic of stock raw material planning in the casting plan at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum .
The improvement that I propose is regarding the Alti 80 material stock using the Min - Max stock method to help reduce the occurrence of material shortages or excesses. It is hoped that through these improvements the material supply can be optimized so that there are no additional inventory costs and the production process does not run effectively.
