Position Overview

The Inventory Control and Warehouse Management Intern PT Berdikari will support the Supply Chain Division in ensuring accurate stock management, efficient warehouse operations, and smooth material handling processes. This role provides hands-on experience in inventory monitoring, warehouse documentation, and process improvement to strengthen operational effectiveness within PT Berdikari.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring, recording, and updating daily inventory movements (inbound, outbound, and stock adjustments).

• Support periodic stock-taking, cycle counts, and reconciliation between physical stock and system records.

• Help maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including delivery orders, stock cards, and material receipts.

• Contribute to monitoring warehouse layout, storage utilization, and FIFO/FEFO implementation.

• Assist in coordinating with procurement, distribution, and logistics teams to ensure smooth stock flow.

• Support the identification of discrepancies, reporting, and root cause analysis for inventory variances.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

• Prepare inventory and warehouse reports for internal review and management.

• Assist in monitoring inventory turnover, minimum stock levels, and safety stock requirements.

• Provide support in warehouse audit activities and compliance with internal SOPs and safety standards.

• Help track product shelf life, quality checks, and handling of damaged or returned goods.

• Contribute to digitalization efforts by supporting the implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP tools.

• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely distribution and delivery of goods to customers or business units.

• Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and discussions on warehouse optimization projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields.

• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems is a plus.

• Willingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic business environment.
