The HSE Intern PT Berdikari will support the Health, Safety, and Environment team in implementing and monitoring HSE programs across PT Berdikari’s Holding Office and Operational Units. This role involves ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting safety culture, and contributing to sustainability initiatives across all business operations.
Assist in implementing and monitoring HSE policies and compliance across Holding Office and Operational Units (including poultry, cattle, and feed mill operations).
Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRADC) processes for office and operational environments.
Conduct regular safety inspections, PPE compliance checks, and hygiene audits at unit operations.
Assist in planning and delivering HSE training sessions, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
Monitor environmental management practices, including waste handling, energy efficiency, and sustainability measures.
Participate in incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action follow-ups.
Collaborate with multiple departments (Operations, HR, Quality Assurance) to ensure integrated HSE compliance.
Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance dashboards for management review.
Assist in compliance with national regulations (K3), ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001), HACCP, and other relevant guidelines.
Final-year student or recent graduate in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Animal Science, Food Technology, or related field.
Basic knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (K3, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HACCP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work across office and operational settings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willing to travel between Holding and unit operations.
