PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) Intern PT Berdikari will support planning and monitoring of the production process and inventory control for fresh poultry products in the slaughterhouse operations. The role ensures production aligns with daily sales demand, processing capacity, raw material availability, and quality standards, enabling efficient fulfillment of fresh poultry orders to customers.
Assist in preparing daily slaughtering plans based on customer orders, forecast, and available live birds (DOC/Broiler).
Ensure planning accuracy to meet fresh poultry product requirements (whole chicken, cuts, giblets, etc.).
Coordinate with the Production and Operations team to adjust schedules for urgent or priority orders.
Monitor raw material stock (live birds) and ensure availability for daily slaughtering operations.
Track finished goods stock (fresh poultry products) in cold storage and chiller for order fulfillment.
Assist in FIFO (First In, First Out) implementation to maintain product freshness and avoid waste.
Align production output with customer delivery schedules and sales orders.
Coordinate with Logistics & Sales teams to ensure timely dispatch of fresh poultry to clients.
Record daily production data: slaughtered birds, yield, product breakdown (whole chicken, cuts, offal).
Analyze production vs. plan performance, identify gaps, and propose corrective actions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports for management review.
Support coordination with Quality Assurance to ensure all fresh poultry products meet food safety and halal standards.
Monitor compliance with cold chain requirements for product freshness and shelf life.
Identify bottlenecks in production planning and propose solutions for better efficiency.
Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles in the slaughterhouse operations.
Undergraduate student or fresh graduate in Industrial Engineering, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Knowledge of poultry processing operations, slaughtering workflow, and fresh product handling is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP) and other data analysis tools.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
