Research Intern

The National Research and Innovation Agency of The Republic of Indonesia (BRIN) Project Base

Role: Research Intern/Thesis Student
Focus Areas: Nanopartcle Synthesis, Biogenic Methods, Process Optimization, Extracellular Metabolites
Tools/Software: OriginPro, ImageJ, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Contributed to sustainable nanomaterial development by eliminating toxic chemicals in synthesis routes
Investigated biogenic synthesis of iron oxide (FeₓOᵧ) nanoparticles using crude extracellular metabolites from Streptomyces cavourensis as a green reducing and stabilizing agent
Optimized synthesis of FeₓOᵧ nanoparticles by adjusting precursor concentration, temperature, and reaction time; best results achieved at 0.05 M, 23 °C, for 4 hours
Characterized nanoparticles using techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, SEM/TEM, and FTIR to evaluate size, morphology, and functional groups
Observed selective antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, attributed to limited nanoparticle penetration in Gram-negative strains

Student Intern

PT PLN Indonesia Power Magang

Role: Process Analyst in HSE Division (Student)
Tools/Software: Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe After Effects

Evaluated thermal performance and efficiency of Cooling Tower Unit 2 through field data and analysis
Calculated key performance indicators such as range, approach, effectiveness, and cooling capacity
Analyzed the impact of environmental factors (wet-bulb temperature, airflow rate) on tower operation
